Parents can rest assured that their child/ren will be involved in suitable, stimulating activities in a safe, happy and caring environment, supervised by enthusiastic and friendly staff. Any parent who wishes to get involved with our After School Club would be very welcome Many of our play activities include:
Details Of The Club: St. Anne's After School Fun Club was set up in April 1998 to provide out of school care for the school's 4 - 11 year old children. The club now caters for approximately 50 children per session. Within our setting we provide opportunities for creative, challenging and worthwhile play, whilst the children are in our care. The staff at this club work together to provide the highest quality of care and play opportunities for all children. Children have exclusive use of equipment, materials and resources to enjoy themselves taking part in a wide variety of activities which are always appropriately supervised by qualified members of staff.
After School Fun Club is usually held in the Infants Hall, unless the hall is in use for school events. Subsequently, we will be located in the Junior Hall.
Refreshments are provided for the children. Snack rotates between two biscuits, and one night per week a packet of crisps, along with a drink of juice or water. Occasionally other foods from around the world are available to coincide with our theme.
A register is always taken at the beginning of each session. When the usual parent(s) / Carer(s) collect their child/ren they must record the time the child/ren departs on the register. In the event of a child not attending After School Club, please notify Staff or the School Secretary. Should anyone other than the regular parent(s) / carer(s) collect your child/ren could you please either write it down on the child collection sheet, phone the After School mobile, send a letter into After School or notify the School Office.
Times Of Operation: The club runs from Monday to Friday every week during term time, from 3.30 to 6.00pm.
Charges: Prices per session are: £5.00 per child £7.00 for two children in a family £9.00 for three children in a family A non refundable Registration Fee of £5.00 is payable when starting to use the club. Also a Consent Form and Indemnity Form are required to be filled in. Please see the Club Coordinator Mrs. Molyneux for further information.
Bills are sent out at the beginning of each half term. Should a family go on holiday in term time, these will be chargeable, since the club still has to provide the staffing levels despite your child's absence temporarily. Places will be made available in extreme circumstances if required, in situations such as hospitalisation, bereavement etc.
