Hello parents, Good news (as mentioned on the Messageboard.) Hot dinners will be available from January 2011. They will cost £2.00 per day, in keeping with other local schools. Dinners will need to be paid for on the Friday before the following week (for example for the week beginning 10th January, dinner money will need to be in on Friday 7th January. The menu for the dinners is available by clicking here. It's a three week rotating menu, so 10th January will be Week 2 in that cycle. The dinner team have a very good idea which are the most popular dinners - and more of those are provided, but just to be extra careful and fair - the order that children go up for dinner will vary every day. That means across a fortnight, each child will be in the first class at some point and the last class at some point. I hope that is helpful news for you! Absence / Credit: Please note - when your child is absent (having previously paid for a meal) - a credit can be given - however - you will need to inform school before 9.00 on the day of absence, otherwise the charge for the meal is incurred by school , which we would regretfully need to pass on.
