Messageboard

The Messageboard is our main form of communication with parents. All our news is posted there. Sometimes a text message will accompany a message there - (especially if urgent or of particular importance) but, given that we don't want to "over - do" the number of texts we send out, sometimes messages will not be accompanied by a text. This is a new system of communicating with groups of parents to pass on messages from school. The idea is to improve communication by the following system:

1. School staff will be able to text specific groups of parents and post a school letter on the Messageboard. This might be, for example, news about a school trip or a parents' meeting. Groups can be as large as all parents or as small as two families.

2. No confidential or sensitive information will be posted on the Messageboard. For individual communication, a phone call, email (see registration) or paper version letter will be sent.

3. This will eliminate the need (eventually) for most of our paper letters which are frequently lost, misplaced or left in the bottom of school bags!!

4. In order to make this work, we will need two or three key pieces of information from you: (Both) Parents most recent mobile phone numbers and (Both) parents email addresses. These can be provided at the Email Registration page.

5. If you change your email address and / or your mobile phone number - we will need to know your new details asap.

6. Only school staff will be able to post messages on the Messageboard in order to ensure privacy / integrity of the board. If you wish to comment to school, please email or use the feedback form

N.B. The Messageboard is hosted by Proboards (details on that section) who are responsible for some of the content. We, therefore, are not responsible for those aspects (such as adverts etc.)
